The 3-Day Brief Therapy Intensive
This 3-day intensive presents a comprehensive and systematic approach to solving problems, as developed by the Brief Therapy Center staff, Paul Watzlawick, John Weakland and Richard Fisch.
Since it's inception in 1966, this non-confrontational, non-normative and strength-oriented approach to interactions has proven to be helpful in promoting change in a variety of difficult situations. This approach has been successfully used in private practice, school settings, court mandated therapy, Juvenile Halls and even large organizations, like business.
Come join the members of the Brief Therapy Center in a friendly setting. A working grasp of this approach will be conveyed through didactic presentations, video-taped clinical examples and role-playing. Some mirror work might be a part of this training and lots of questions will be answered. Learn how to manage the initial interview, design interventions, elicit the client's cooperation and know when and how to terminate.
Cost: $375
