Director of MRI's Strategic Family Therapy and Training Center and a Senior Research Fellow of the Mental Research Institute. She has been both a Faculty Member of the Family Therapy Institute of Washington, D.C. and an Associate Professor of the Gestalt Institute of San Francisco. She trained with Jay Haley and Cloe Madanes and incorporates many of their ideas and influence into her practice.
