Eric Greenleaf, Ph.D., a psychologist in practice in Albany, California, directs the Milton H. Erickson Institute of the Bay Area. He researches trance and healing in Bali, teaches internationally, and trains psychotherapists and Feldenkrais practitioners in hypnotic communication. His book, The Problem of Evil: Ancient Dilemmas and Modern Therapy, appeared in 2000. Milton Erickson, MD, chose Eric to receive the first Milton H. Erickson Award of Scientific Excellence for Writing in Hypnosis.

Learning Objectives
Participants will be able to:

1. Describe and utilize four major approaches to hypnotic induction.
2. Practice simplified forms of the inductions.
3. Learn Erickson's Utilization approach to patients.
4. Describe three central elements of unconscious mind function.
5. Use unconscious mind imagery in psychotherapy.

It is never our intention to cancel a course but sufficient enrollment must be met in order to present any course. The Mental Research Institute reserves the right to cancel any course due to insufficient enrollment. In the case of a course cancellation you will be notified by phone, e-mail, or mail of the cancellation 10 days prior to the scheduled class date and a full refund will be issued within 30 days.
