Lucy Gill, founder of Gill Associates.
Lucy Gill, a management consultant since 1972, is an internationally known
authority in the prevention and management of difficult and non-productive
behavior, and in methods for obtaining optimal performance from executives
and management teams. Her work includes individual coaching, team building,
conflict resolution, management development training, and meeting
facilitation.
Lucy was a Research Affiliate of the Mental Research Institute of Palo Alto
working on the Brief Therapy Team for eight years and has pioneered in the
application of a unique consulting process that minimizes the time required
to resolve complex management problems.
Ms. Gill is mostly retired now. She consulted primarily at the executive
level and with management teams. Her clients included Perrier Vittel,
Varian Associates, Sun Microsystems, TRW, Lucky Stores, Glaxo Inc., Rockwell
International, McDonnell Douglas, Northwestern Mutual Life, major government
entities, several banks, and a number of start-up companies in and around
California's Silicon Valley.
Ms. Gill received her undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri
and her Masters of Science in Organization Development from Pepperdine
University.
She is the author of How to Work with Just About Anyone: A 3-Step Solution
for Getting Difficult People to Change, published by Simon & Schuster in
1999. Her book has been translated into German, Dutch, and French.
Course Description
Lucy Gill, management consultant and author of "How to Work with Just About
Anyone", will describe how she used Brief Therapy techniques within her
business consulting practice. She will show you her structure for solving
clients' problems and how she blended BT with other tools of the trade.
Numerous examples will help you apply BT within your own organization and
team as well as with your clients.

as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, Provider
